What do candy and non-perishables have in common? Actually nothing! They are the direct opposite! In the season of Halloween when children everywhere are able to go door to door collecting candy, the Spirit Team decided it was a good time to give back to our community. Each class collected a generous amount of food items. Congratulations to Mrs. Kirk's grade 1/2 class for collecting 335 items, they won themselves a Popcorn Party! Together our school collected over 1200 items...that is impressive. Thank you to all who supported our cause.
Of course all of the students got right into the spirit of Halloween as they strutted their stuff down the catwalk. What awesome costumes! A big thanks to the parents who participated. We love having you celebrate with us.
